Why Did You Want to Become a Dentist?
When Dr. Dragonette was young, he found out his grandmother had dentures, and he promised to help her get her teeth back one day. As he grew up and learned more about dentistry as a viable profession, he realized that he wanted to extend that hopeful promise to all patients in need and help them restore their smiles in whatever ways they needed. Today, he couldn’t imagine having any other job!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Dragonette achieved his Bachelor of Science in Biology (with a minor in Chemistry) from State University of New York at Fredonia. He then went on to complete his dental doctorate at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. While in school, he participated in several outreach programs, providing dental care to underserved areas like Chattanooga, Tennessee and the Dominican Republic. Following graduation, he continued his training at the Buffalo Veterans Hospital as a part of their Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program. He has also pursued additional continuing education through Spear Education. Today, he is a member of the American Dental Association and the New York Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
